Scott Adams (Dilbert): Right-wing correspondent takes principled stand against ‘racist tirade’
Scott Adams, the renowned American author and cartoonist behind the massively successful Dilbert comic strip has often stirred controversy with his views on social and political issues. But he recently went too far for the liking of various news outlets and distributors, forcing many to drop Dilbert. Adams, who is White, recently and repeatedly referred to Blacks as members of a “hate group” or a “racist hate group” and said he would no longer “help Black Americans.” (Lee Cleveland/Fight Saga 2/28/23)

March 6, 2023: CNN: ‘Dilbert’ to return on Scott Adams’ subscription service
On Sunday, the cartoonist livestreamed himself drawing the new comic strips on a tablet, where he said he was illustrating the “origin story of Dilbert Reborn.” It shows the strip’s Garbage Man character coming to collect ashes — possibly, Dilbert’s — and asking another character, “How did he die?”
Dogbert, in what Adams said is “the understatement of the year,” replies, “It’s a long story.”
The Garbage Man then says “cryptically,” according to Adams, “Give me two hours.”
Dogbert adds, “Can you make him angrier this time?” as the final punchline.

March 6, 2023: We Got This Covered: Comedian Deon Cole absolutely clowns on Scott Adams’ recent racist rant
Comedian and black-ish star Deon Cole has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Scott Adams.
As previously reported, Adams, the famous cartoonist and creator of Dilbert, has received massive backlash following his racist comments about Black people after a Rasmussen poll shared that a slight majority of them agreed with the term “It’s okay to be white.” The poll results released late last month showcased that only 53% of Black people agreed with the phrase, while the other 47% were divided between “disagree” and “not sure.”

Adams was responding to a poll from the conservative firm Rasmussen Reports that said 53% of Black Americans agreed with the statement, “It’s OK to be White.”
As CBS News pointed out, “The Anti-Defamation League says the phrase (It’s OK to be White) was popularized in 2017 as a trolling campaign by members of the discussion forum 4chan but then began being used by some white supremacists.”
Adams said, “If nearly half of all Blacks are not OK with white people — according to this poll, not according to me, according to this poll — that’s a hate group. I don’t want to have anything to do with them. And I would say, based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from Black people, just get the (expletive) away … because there is no fixing this.”
Adams also blamed Black Americans for not “focusing on education” and said, “I’m also really sick of seeing video after video of Black Americans beating up non-Black citizens.” 2.27.23; Poynter

"I think it’s important to also note that Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, all staying safe, not being touched at all. I think the Republican’s obsession with work requirements are offensive to poor people, assuming that people want to be poor and don’t have the fight inside of them to work hard. It’s offensive, and I think it will ultimately come a backlash. But the way that they were able to negotiate and protect veterans, people who are homeless is really important...........I also think though is Kevin McCarthy going to be able to get it done in his caucus? I mean we were all sitting here at two in the morning seeing if he could get speaker votes. We weren’t sure what concessions he made. Can he hold his caucus together, or will he have to rely on Democrats yet again, so our country doesn’t default?"
