Scott Adams, the renowned American author and cartoonist behind the massively successful Dilbert comic strip has often stirred controversy with his views on social and political issues. But he recently went too far for the liking of various news outlets and distributors, forcing many to drop Dilbert. March 6, 2023: CNN: ‘Dilbert’ to return on Scott Adams’ subscription service
On Sunday, the cartoonist livestreamed himself drawing the new comic strips on a tablet, where he said he was illustrating the “origin story of Dilbert Reborn.” It shows the strip’s Garbage Man character coming to collect ashes — possibly, Dilbert’s — and asking another character, “How did he die?”
Dogbert, in what Adams said is “the understatement of the year,” replies, “It’s a long story.”
The Garbage Man then says “cryptically,” according to Adams, “Give me two hours.”
Dogbert adds, “Can you make him angrier this time?” as the final punchline.

Comedian and black-ish star Deon Cole has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Scott Adams.
As previously reported, Adams, the famous cartoonist and creator of Dilbert, has received massive backlash following his racist comments about Black people after a Rasmussen poll shared that a slight majority of them agreed with the term “It’s okay to be white.” The poll results released late last month showcased that only 53% of Black people agreed with the phrase, while the other 47% were divided between “disagree” and “not sure.”

ABC News has also found the new anchors for GMA3, the early afternoon spinoff of Good Morning America. Kim Godwin said that the hour will be led by anchors Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan, joining Dr. Jen Ashton, the chief medical correspondent for ABC News. GMA3 had been without a permanent anchor team since December, when T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were fired after a tabloid revealed that they were in a personal relationship.
