"The Washington Post’s Aaron Blake and Chris Cillizza pose as objective reporters (even though Cillizza’s second home is on MSNBC agreeing with every left-wing premise thrown his way). Both, though, dropped their guard Tuesday to launch illogical and unfounded partisan attacks on Republican Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz...This is how journalists like Blake and Cillizza think and operate. Other than playing goalie for Obama, The Washington Post doesn’t want to know nothin’ about Benghazi or the IRS. But a 25 year-old rock, a fifty year-old haircut, and a sweet gotcha! against Tea Party demons like Rubio and Cruz (for an office budget that revolves around constituent outreach) … brother, there’s a story worth telling. May 13, 2023:
CNN's Kaitlyn Collins on the Town Hall: "While many were disappointed the ex-POTUS was given a platform to talk to the nation, Collins pointed out on an episode of CNN Primetime that the chat "was a major inflection point in the Republican Party's search for its nominee, and potentially the starting line for America's next presidential race......It's important to remember that he is right now the GOP frontrunner. A race that he is running, as noted, while being criminally indicted, found civilly liable, and under investigation for everything from his handling of classified documents to his business empire."...........Anderson Cooper also weighed in: "Many of you have expressed deep anger and disappointment....Many of you are upset that someone who attempted to destroy our democracy was invited to sit on a stage in front of a crowd of Republican voters to answer questions and predictably continued to spew lie, after lie, after lie."
I will admit that I initially did not think it was wise to give Trump a microphone to the nation. But Trump, the sexual predator, really showed himself off as a major Grade A Nutjob.

Trump had every right to raise legitimate questions about election fraud in a controversial election in which the result hung on a mere 44,000 votes across three states. His vocalized concerns were First Amendment-protected free speech, just like the statements of the Democrats who engaged in election denialism in 2000, 2004, and 2016. And yet, according to Smith and the Biden Justice Department, Trump is not entitled to his Constitutionally protected speech, or even the right to be wrong. It's such a blatant violation of Trump's First Amendment protections that it appears to be as much a messaging event as a legal one—to warn President Biden's political opponents of the steep cost of opposing him and his radical agenda.

They are basically indicting Donald Trump for Joe Biden's crimes. They have thrown the kitchen sink at Donald Trump for the last seven or eight years since he came down that escalator at Trump Tower. They've tried to stop him and destroy him, why? Because he is an existential threat to the entire corrupt status quo and ruling class. They have got to stop him. This is just the latest chapter of this. But I have never seen anybody survive what Donald Trump has survived, so, don't underestimate him. The guy is going to survive this as well.
