Aug 20, 2014: The Westerley Sun: Mystic playground sign thief gets jail time in Virginia
According to news reports, the case started to come together when Chez Pazienza, the media editor at The Daily Banter, a news website, wrote an open letter shaming the thief, and Truelove responded, leaving a message and a telephone number. Truelove ultimately emailed photos showing the two signs in his living room, and other photos depicting a hand making obscene gestures at the signs. Pazienza then contacted Stonington Police. ![]() Mar 13, 2014: Chez Pazienza (Daily Banter) writes: "Terry Richardson Is a Piece of Sh*t ." There's not a lot of good information int he article as it mainly reports on a basic "he said-she said" situation which come from Reddit and has decided "He’s essentially a sexual predator with a camera, but since people keep hiring him and models keep posing for him — up to and including Miley Cyrus, who contracted him to direct her Wrecking Ball video." His information came from an article from "Vocativ" (which they apparently scrounged up from Reddit.) Their story was called “Oh My God, What’s Happening?” Up Close and Personal With a Terry Richardson Model" It basically reads like soft porn and anyone who has been subject to molestation usually dont spend that much time explaining all the details so graphically so that a web-zine can post it...and include pictures. Pazienza asks after he includes some details from the Vocativ article: "If the story Waters is telling is true, then what she’s describing is sexual assault, isn’t it?" and then ask in his last sentence: "why isn’t this piece of shit in prison right now? " Pazienza answered his question before he asked it. And it revolves around the word "IF." There's probably a good case for slander just reading Pzaienza's article at face value. And probably not a good idea if you're dealing with a guy who works with Cyrus. Cyrus looks for people to work for her who push the envelope as she does. Apparently Richardson does too, and another reason why other celebrities seek him out.Granted, working with Cyrus doesn't make him innocent, but most of the information in the two articles are highly suspect. Suspect for slander, that it. But, first and foremost, the reason Richardson has not been sent to jail is there have been no charges. Hence, no trial. Hence no conviction. Hence no jail
