The network’s propagandists often portray those guests as heroes fighting for freedom against “authoritarian” mandates -- even though Fox itself has a vaccine requirement for employees. |
Fox has ignored its moral responsibility to keep its viewers informed (and thus healthy) since the COVID-19 pandemic began, instead treating it primarily as a new culture war issue to exploit for political and financial gain. Seemingly out of nowhere. she added “So, those kids are all going to grow up thinking, well, school lunch is free, right?” Her guest was former Trump economic adviser Larry Kudlow, so I suspect thats why the confusion over whether a kid thinks free lunch is free or whether they think its free or free or free free. Maybe they were rehearsing a Turbo Tax commercial.

Fox News leadership reminded staffers to upload proof of their COVID-19 vaccine status Tuesday, regardless of if they work remotely or in one of the company’s offices. Tuesday was the final day to upload the statuses, which were requested in June, according to reports. “All employees must enter their status no later than today, August 17th, by close of business,” wrote Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott in an internal memo reported on by Adweek and CNN. Employees were told to continue masking “in small, confined spaces with limited opportunities for social distancing and where there are multiple employees, including control rooms.” Essential employees are required to be tested for COVID-19 on site once a week, either Monday or Thursday. |

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson ended his 17-minute monologue on Afghan refugees Wednesday night by going after Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has sparred with him indirectly for years.
Carlson rolled some of Omar’s recent comments on accepting refugees, noting that she herself was a refugee from Somalia, before saying he wasn’t going to attack her: “We’re not going to do that. The truth is this is our fault. She is our fault. Ilhan Omar is living proof that we are not very good at resettling refugees. She was saved from a refugee camp in Kenya as a child by the kindness and generosity of America and yet she has grown to hate America and the people who live here. Where did she learn those attitudes? Well, of course, in college — our colleges. We taught her to hate our country. She became worse after she got here.”
