Apr 29, 2015: Jonah Goldberg: Real Clear Politics: Clinton Is Playing Her Fans for Fools
The Clinton spin on the book is that there’s not a “shred of evidence” of criminal wrongdoing, or as ABC’s George Stephanopoulos helpfully repeated over the weekend, “There’s no smoking gun.” He’s right, but not being a criminal is a remarkably low bar for a politician, even a Clinton.

ABC’s This Week host (and former President Bill Clinton staffer) George Stephanopoulos first ran a Jeff Zeleny terribly mal-informed recorded piece.  In which the only person with whom Zeleny spoke was Tim Wu - the creator of Net Neutrality.  Wu was not identified as having done so - his opinion was merely taken at face value and presented unopposed.

Feb 20, 2012: John Peterson (Democurmudgeon) "Dick Morris hatches Obama Conspiracy; he wants to convince voters Republicans want to ban contraception…you mean they don't?" : "During a Republican presidential debate in January, moderator George Stephanopoulos peppered Mitt Romney with questions about contraception that seemed totally out of the blue at the time. But in the wake of President Barack Obama’s move to mandate health insurance companies’ coverage of contraception, the motivation for the ABC newsman’s grilling of Romney has become clear, according to political pundit Dick Morris: It’s part of a plan to convince voters that Republicans will ban contraception. Rush Limbaugh opined that Stephanopoulos — who Morris referred to as a “paid Democratic hit man” — was trying to get Romney to agree that states had the right to ban contraception, but “they failed in getting their sound bite. If Romney had said, ‘Well, theoretically yeah, states could,’ that would have been the ad” to use against him."
