July 30, 2023:
A Donald Trump-appointed federal judge dismissed the former president's lawsuit against CNN on Friday, ruling that referring to his fixed election claims as "The Big Lie" didn't directly create ties between Trump and Hitler, and thus, wasn't defamatory.
The former president, who was found liable for defamation himself back in May, first brought his nearly $500 million lawsuit against CNN back in October of 2022. In it, he claimed that the term "The Big Lie" used by network personalities to describe his countless falsehoods about the 2020 election "wrongly links Trump with the Hitler regime in the public eye."
But in Judge Raag Singhal's dismissal, he ruled that "this is a stacking of inferences that cannot support a finding of falsehood" and "being 'Hitler-like' is not a verifiable statement of fact that would support a defamation claim."

MSNBC host Jen Psaki asked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, “Are you OK?” Psaki’s mocking concern drove a segment that totally skewered DeSantis’ sputtering attempt to win the Republican presidential nomination.
“So lately as I’ve been watching the way Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is running his presidential campaign, there is a question that has been running through my mind: Are you OK, Governor? I mean, for real, are you good?” said Psaki, a former White House press secretary under President Joe Biden. “It’s OK if you don’t actually want to run for president. It’s completely OK,” she added. Psaki said it was difficult to arrive at any other conclusion because of DeSantis’ “bizarre” campaign.
She thrashed DeSantis for overspending on the trail like a “teen pop star,” especially on private plane travel. She also took him to task for his state’s new school curriculum, which teaches that slaves benefited by learning skills. This prompted a rebuke from South Carolina’s Tim Scott — the only Black Republican in the Senate — who said, “There is no silver lining in slavery.”
In another head-scratcher, Psaki noted that DeSantis floated the idea of appointing Democratic anti-vaxxer candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Food and Drug Administration or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. (DeSantis has tried to walk that one back.)
“DeSantis is floundering in the polls, burning through cash, defending the merits of slavery, floating jobs for conspiracy theorist Democrats,” she said. “It’s enough to make you wonder if this whole campaign is really a cry for help. Does he really want to do it?”

July 25, 2023: Daily Beast: Fox Insiders Shudder at Gutfeld’s Latest Holocaust Controversy: ‘Yikes’
Fox News star Greg Gutfeld, whose latest book debuted on Tuesday, is currently under fire over his recent observation that Jewish people “had to be useful” in order to survive concentration camps, prompting the Auschwitz Museum to rebuke his comments as an “oversimplification” of the Holocaust.
Fox News staffers and insiders also told The Daily Beast that it was a “disgusting thing” for the network’s resident “comedian” to say, adding that “at any other place, his career would be over.”

Fox Views (because they are not a News organization, , Jesse Watters, had this to say in a recent broadcast:
I don’t think it’s just a White House staffer doing a bump in between briefings. My sources say that the hunter’s living at the residence and obviously he can’t go out and score narcotics, so he has to have someone bring it in. So he’s probably got a staffer and it was a drop. They were using the club as the drop, and Hunter must have a key or the other guy that was doing the drop of the key because that’s the only way you get access. So cubbyhole.
Oh and he has a lot other opinions. In fact he seems to have a rather unhealthy obsession with the story. And, of course, in typical Watters fashion, instead of finding the facts he just offers what he believes is the answer. Silly, of course, but since it is Fox Views...it would be tragic if one of their on-air personnel actually took the time to go out and investigate anything.

Jul 13, 2023 #TYT #TheYoungTurks #BreakingNews Fox News’ Jesse Watters lamented about Joe Biden's manners at NATO’s headquarters in Brussels. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian discuss on The Young Turks. "Fox News’ Jesse Watters criticized President Joe Biden on Wednesday because he does not shove other world leaders aside for photo ops. The host referenced a 2017 summit in which then-President Donald Trump shoved Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic to get prime position during a 2017 visit to NATO’s headquarters in Brussels.". |

Fox News host Jesse Watters is not happy about President Biden's overseas trip because, according to Watters, Biden isn't shoving world leaders out of the way. Watters lamented the fact that Biden isn't being pushy like Trump was when he shoved the Prime Minister of Montenegro out of the way during a photo op - a moment that normal people viewed as embarrassing. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses Watters' gripes. |

July 11, 2023: Daily Beast: Confider #71: Fox News vs. TPUSA, Mark Levin Meltdown, and Megyn Kelly Rises
Months after fully severing ties with CPAC, Fox News appears to have distanced itself from another major conservative powerhouse: Turning Point USA. In years past, the cable network maintained a close, nearly symbiotic relationship with the Charlie Kirk-led MAGA student group, with Fox News stars regularly appearing at TPUSA events and Fox Nation livestreaming the entirety of the org’s Student Action Summit and Americafest events, including an All Access Live broadcast in 2021 hosted by Fox stars Kayleigh McEnany and Pete Hegseth.

July 10, 2023:
The always rude and angry Mark Levin is declaring that "If we don’t BREAK THE BACK of the Department of Justice,” he declared, “it will destroy this country!” He is a lunatic right-wing shill who, of course, has a show on Fox Views.
He says "As someone who served there for many years … this department is destroying America. It’s destroying the 2024 election. It’s destroying every norm, every tradition, everything it inherited to ensure that that department could be trustworthy. But it has criminalized politics. If we don’t BREAK THE BACK of the Department of Justice, it will destroy this country! And we won’t be able to claw our way back. I don’t mean this as hyperbole." In other words, the fact that Trump has been indicted and it could cost them the 2024 election that his answer to that is to "destroy" the DOJ. Dumping Trump would have been the better option.
James Comer has joined in on the "investigation" (at least that's what he calls it) and makes all kind of claims and allegations but never back any of it up. It's like the Gaslighting Jim Jordan effect is now streaming through the Republican party. Comer has even claimed he has "whistleblowers" but then claims he lost them or they die or whatever excuse he can make up for the moments Fox & Newsmax can give him airtime to bloviate.
On his show, Levin holds up a stack of papers and says “You see this? These are the leaks! From grand juries, to witnesses, to Mar a Lago, to the nature of the classified documents. Leak after leak after leak!” Of course he expects us to assume he actually has any information in any of those papers. Truly I believe they are a stack of papers left over from The Shining typed by Jack Nicholsons' character that say "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."

👉ANALYSIS: Fabricated media narrative fuels affirmative action outrage
This outrage is a sentiment that has been cultivated by legacy media and ‘trusted academic leaders’ who have fueled the narrative that abandoning affirmative action would have catastrophic consequences for minority students.
In most cases where affirmative action has been banned, there has been a virtually parallel relationship between the racial demographics of colleges and the racial makeup of the state in question.
People are outraged. But that reaction is not surprising. This outrage is a sentiment that has been cultivated by legacy media and 'trusted academic leaders' who have fueled the narrative that abandoning affirmative action would have catastrophic consequences for minority students.
