April 17, 2023: Daily Beast: Dominion Isn’t the Only One Looking to Cash In on Fox News’ Defamation Woes
Newsmax, the MAGA channel that saw exponential growth in late 2020 by peddling election lies, hasn’t mentioned Dominion’s $1.6 billion suit on-air in nearly a month. In fact, through Sunday, March 12, a single one-hour weekday Newsmax show has given Carlson’s story more attention than all of the rest of Fox combined. It’s going to make things worse.” -California State Senator Scott Wiener on violence against Paul Pelosi 10.28.22 |

Qanon devotee, Lara Logan, told host Eric Bolling that “the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world,” and later added that the world’s elites “want us eating insects and cockroaches” while they “dine on the blood of children.” Hence, Newsmax dropped her and say they will not have her on again. Logan was actually dumped by Fox news when she drew a parallel between Dr. Anthony Fauci and the infamous Nazi “angel of death” doctor Josef Mengele. December 8, 2021:
Newsmax has announced that it is terminating the contract of WH Correspondant Emerald Robinson after she said vaccines contained “luciferase” used to track people.
She is replaced by James Rosen, who was fired by Fox in 2017 after being accused by several women of sexual harassment. Once upon a time Newsmax was just another online news website. They've traded in any credibility they had for propaganda. It must pay better.
Newsmax now has a revolving door of propagandists and other shady personalities....where one goes out and another, sometimes worse, comes in.

November 2021: Newsmax White House correspondent Emerald Robinson falsely tweeted that the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine contained luciferase "so that you can be tracked." Robinson's tweet began with the salutation "Dear Christians" and referred her over 400,000 followers to the Book of Revelation; in a tweet days earlier, she equated vaccines with the Mark of the Beast.

The sudden rise and precipitous fall of Newsmax, explained by an expert. |
“The issue that I always come back to ... is that Newsmax is just not good,” Campbell told me. “It’s very dull, it’s very repetitive of conservative talking points I see everywhere else.” So while Newsmax may be relevant enough to warrant occasional call-ins from Trump for extreme softball interviews, Campbell, whose areas of expertise also include Steven Crowder and Ben Shapiro, doesn’t foresee it becoming a major player heading into next year’s midterms — especially after it burned viewers with election fraud conspiracy theories that ended up not returning Trump to the White House for a second term after all. “To steal a line from the movie Scarface, Newsmax had basically gotten high on its own supply, and their viewers were left holding nothing at the end of all that. I think that played a major role,” he told me. |
