Z-NEWS NOTE: May 1, 2014: Noam Scheiber has announced in New Republic that "Banning Sterling Was Good. A Black NBA Commissioner Would Be Much Better." It's another example of why race continues to be an issue. Scheiber states "If anything, the Sterling episode has only highlighted a deeper outrage: that the NBA is a majority-black league which no African-American has a plausible shot of governing. " In other words, according to Scheiber, the NBA is racist. Without using the exact words, Scheiber's staement is about as nonsencical as Donald Sterlings was.
