The Stranger's endorsements for School Board were pretty much on point. (The Times hasn't issued their endorsements for School Board but does have a sweet editorial about how expensive it is to go to weddings. No, really, apparently that's the burning issue of the day.)

Peters is a founding member of Parents Across America (PAA), a national public education advocacy organization which unites engaged parents throughout the nation, and aims to bring their voices into the local and national discussion of public education policy and practices. PAA is supported by national education historian and expert, Diane Ravitch, who served in the Department of Education in both the Clinton and Bush I administrations.
