Apr 11, 2014: Chad Whittle Media: ChadCast: Rachel Alexander on U.S. Giving Up Control of ICANN Internet Domain Naming System
-On this edition of The ChadCast, Rachel Alexander, the Editor of the IntellectualConservative.com, Writer for Townhall, Christian Post, and an attorney joined Chad to discuss the recent announcement by the U.S. government of their plans to give up control of the ICANN internet domain naming system to international control. ![]() ON THE RECORD: Jan 27, 2014: Rachel Alexander (Intellectual Conservative) says "Obama Criminalizes Dissent, Goes After Dinesh D’Souza " She says of the charges against D'Souza: "There is an old saying that a good prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, and as a former prosecutor, I agree" and contrasted it with Democrat John Edwards who "received numerous $2,000 donations from support staff and paralegals at large law firms, many all on the same day, nothing happened to him. Overlawyered reported." She notes several critics of the action including Laura Ingraham and Matt Drudge: "Conservative commentator Laura Ingraham calls it an act of political retribution. “This indictment is the kind of thing that we’re kind of accustomed to seeing come out of a place like China,” she said. “They jail dissidents, they put them in reeducation camps. This is a country run by people who act more thuggish than fair when it comes to conservatives.”Matt Drudge, founder of the Drudge Report, tweeted on January 23, “They are going after the Obama critics with indictments. VA Gov. Now Dinesh D’souza. Holder unleashing the dogs…”

Jan 4, 2014: Recently, Rachel Alexander (Intellectual Conservative) interviewed rocker and gun enthusiast Ted Nugent. She asked: "You’ve written the New York Times best seller God, Guns and Rock’n’Roll (July 2000), Kill it and Grill it (2002) (co-authored with your wife, Shemane), Bloodtrails II: The Truth About Bowhunting (2004), and Ted, White and Blue: The Nugent Manifesto (2008). Can you tell the readers a little bit about these and what they might find interesting in them?" To which Nugent responded: "I wrote those books, like I write my many articles in numerous sporting publications and conservative websites and blogs, as a celebration of self-evident truth, logic and common sense that ultimately provides the recipe for the proven American Dream quality of life. Everything I write and everything I stand for is the anti-venom to the vile self-inflicted scourge of political correctness and the Saul Alinsky/Joseph Goebbells propaganda ministry running amok in media, government, academia and the slovenly hellzone of liberals and most Democrats in the world today. I live and celebrate a common-sense lifestyle that is most common and sensible." I though this worth information to post again since a lot of people don't realize that Nugent is also an author and columnist.

Selous' rather short list of authors and contributors (some of whom haven't contributed anything) also includes Rachel Alexander, a Thomas acolyte whose blind devotion to her boss resulted in the (possibly permanent) suspension of her Arizona law license. We know Alexander must not be receiving fat checks for her text on the Selous site, since just a few months ago, Alexander was using her own conservative blog to beg for money to pay her cat's vet bill.

June 17, 2013: Right Wing News: Liberal State Bar Spends Three Years Going After Lawyer For Being Conservative Blogger
Everyone has now heard stories about conservatives who’ve been punished by “non-political” agencies like the IRS for their beliefs, but it happens at the state level, too. Back in 2011, I wrote about Rachel Alexander, who was targeted by the liberal State Bar of Arizona for having the audacity to work with other conservative lawyers to fight corruption in the state.

June 9, 2012: Michelle Malkin: Bloggers under fire: Arizona conservative lawyer/activist targeted by left-wing Arizona State Bar
In April, the Arizona State Bar suspended Alexander’s law license for six months and one day (the order is here). The order became effective May 10. Less than a week later, she was granted a stay on the suspension as she pursues an appeal. But she’s been hit by another bar complaint as progressive opponents work to destroy her reputation and career.

Oct 3, 2011: Conservative Heritage Times: Is Intellectual Conservative Editor Rachel Alexander Being Persecuted by the Arizona Bar for Her Politics?
The story is complicated but it seems that at base we have dueling allegation of politicization of the legal process. Alexander is one of three defendants (is that the right word?) in an Arizona Bar proceeding that could end with the suspension of her law license for six months.

The Republican candidate has deleted as many as 50 posts from IntellectualConservative.com where he rails against the Girl Scouts — but only because they no longer represent his true beliefs and would otherwise serve as a distraction. Or a war tool for Democrats. Which it has, as this press release illustrates.

From Intellectual Conservative Profile: IC was started in 2002 by a couple of sibling lawyers, in order to promote the politics of the late William F. Buckley, Jr., our hero. By Greg Penglis, on May 9th, 2014 I was listening one Friday morning to Brian Sussman, my local, San Francisco radio host on KSFO AM 560, talking about Earth Day.
