July 21, 2014: Daily Caller: The Obama Administration’s Misleading Abortion Semantics
L.A. Times columnist Robin Abcarian, for example, complained that the “worst” part of the opinion was the acknowledgment that, for the plaintiffs, ending an embryo’s life by blocking implantation is tantamount to abortion. Citing a description of progesterone-based drugs, Abcarian wrongly concludes the progesterone-blocking drug ella (one so-called “emergency contraceptive”) would not harm an embryo in an “established pregnancy,” which she defines as beginning “after implantation.” Blocking progesterone, a hormone essential in pregnancy, ella can cause an implanted embryo’s death. Studies support that fact. Blocking progesterone is precisely how the abortion drug mifepristone kills a baby as well. Abcarian’s error aside, the Court rightly rejected playing the semantics game she and others want to wage. Arguing over the “abortion” label is a distraction. The government admitted its mandate includes what the Greens and Hahns object to: drugs and devices that can end human life. |

Just how low will progressive liberal media hacks to go protect Obama? How about basically accusing the Marine held in Mexico Andrew Tahmooressi of being a psychopath and claiming Mexico did us a favor by arresting.

May 8, 2014: Washington Times Reporter: Pasadena's medical director on leave after his Protestant sermons surface
Los Angeles Times writer Robin Abcarian broke the Walsh story in her column. "Topics discussed by Walsh at the pulpit include: homosexuality as a sin; Oprah, JAY Z, Beyonce ... as examples of the spirit of anti-Christ; Darwin's theory of evolution as a satanic belief; and describing the prophet Muhammad, founder of Islam, as a Satanist," the Pasadena Star-News reported.

ON THE RECORD: Mar 13, 2014: In an article about the intolerant left, Matt K Lewis (Daily Caller) reports about some problems Paul Ryan having as he addresses some inner city poverty and has now been tagged by some from the left as racist. Lewis proposes that "Ryan was digging in too much — getting too close to the other guy’s turf." and then reports that "Something similar is taking place right now with liberal Ezra Klein, who is being labeled something of a homophobe. Okay, it’s not to that level…yet — but he is clearly being told that, when it comes to staffing up his new online venture, Vox, he had better get in line. His decision to hire “gay anti-gay apologist Brandon Ambrosino” seems to have sparked the outrage. As the American Prospect notes, “Klein has come under fire for the lack of racial and gender diversity among Vox’s announced hires, and his decision to hire Ambrosino shows how much he has to learn about genuine diversity.” As I have said over and over and over again, the ones that have spent the last 20 years complaining about how intolerant people are have now become the people they used to call intolerant. Jan 16, 2014: Pattericos Pontifications: Taking L.A. Times Columnist Robin Abcarian to Task for Her Misleading Column About Chris Christie, Benghazi, and the IRS Scandal
I have spent the last two days systematically dismantling a silly column by Robin Abcarian of the L.A. Times, who claims that Chris Christie’s bridge-closing deal is a big deal while the IRS and Benghazi scandals were manufactured and meaningless. Part One is here, and Part Two is here.

ON THE RECORD: Jan 28, 2014: Robin Abcarian (Los Angeles Times) has an article in yesterday titled "Give up, gay marriage haters: Grammys mass wedding proves you've lost . " Personally I totally dislike people who use the word "hater" as callously and recklessly as Abcarian does, but, without debating semantics such a comment proves she doesnt know what she is writing about. Those who disagree with gay marriage never considered Hollywood to be any place to do "battle." Hollywood, as a rule, lives in its own world and has very little concept of what goes on in the real United States.

June 17, 2013: In defense against a judgement against the Republican Party made by Rush Limbaugh, Robin Abcarian (Los Angeles Times), also defended a comment made by Jeb Bush in which he said "immigrants are more fertile." She writes: "Bush obviously meant to say that immigrants have higher birth rates, which is true. (To gauge whether immigrants are more fertile, you’d have to get pretty invasive.)" I take joy in getting to point out any pundit/reporter who doesnt succumb to comments misunderstood by semantics and semantic reactionaries..................
