ON THE RECORD: Jan 15, 2014: Syndicated Columnist Ruben Navarette Jr (Washington Post Writers Group) offered some information on the Melissa Harris-Perry story in his latest column "MSNBC's classless acts." Navarette focused a bit on the events leading up to the Harris-Perry event in question and suggests it was clearly premeditated. He write: "But it turns out that Harris-Perry was no innocent bystander who got caught up in the wreckage. She was the instigator. According to a report on CNN.com, just moments before the controversial segment, Harris-Perry went to commercial egging on her guests and urging them to yuk it up. "My comedians are all going to be forced to drink during the commercial so they can get their funny back," she said on the air. You see, this doomed segment didn't just "proceed" aimlessly into the ditch. It was driven there by the host. And why was this? Harris-Perry may have provided the answer. As she went to break, she added, "We are basically ratings whores." I wouldn't argue with that."

I respect people who change their mind when confronted with new facts. This is a sign of intelligence and growth. However, I wonder what’s driving columnist Ruben Navarrette Jr.’s articles on the DREAMers? On August 4, 2013 he’s asking ‘why are we listening to these brats’.Yet, on August 9th, 2013 he praises the Dream 9, comparing them to courageous Americans; stating they belong in the U.S. On August 11, 2013 he explains that he defended the Dream 9 because some liberals criticized their timing.

There have been a lot of ignorant opinions offered about the Arizona immigration law. It’s difficult to stand out when the list of ill-informed morons is almost endless; however, CNN published an op-ed by Ruben Navarrette Jr. that will live in infamy. Navarrette likens Arizona’s plea for illegal immigration control to a rouge rogue state searching for nuclear weapons.

As for economic issues, I have a hard time understanding how more American jobs are going to be lost to people who supposedly have already stolen them. In fact, as columnist Ruben Navarrette has stated, a case could be made that "to help U.S. workers, we need to get the illegal immigrants legal and force employers to pay all workers higher wages and stop playing one group of workers off another."

While I find a link, suffice it to say that this dude does nothing but excoriate Dems as "White Liberal males" who did the dastardly deed of providing him with an Affirmative Action ticket to Harvard, which so scarred him that he wrote a book about it and launched a column, sort of a weaker sister to Michelle MALKIN, bashing all traditional Hispanic ties to Dems.
